Whilst travelling with the Ninth Doctor, Rose is touched by a weeping angel, and she wakes up in Victorian London. Unable to abide by tight Victorian constraints, Rose sets out to make her own way in the world. Risking her life to solve the mysteries of the London underworld.

Meanwhile, the Doctor returns to Victorian London numerous times in search of Rose.

One day, when Rose was collecting evidence at the Police station, she encountered a rather strange man by the name of John, who asked if she needed any assistance in her cases…
